When our very old TV finally decided to give up after turning everything a funny shade of green we decided it was time to buy ourselves a new TV.

We didn't have much money to spend on one and so we were looking around for the cheapest we could find. Eventually we found this one From Argos. We managed to get it for around £299.00 and after looking around this one looked the best and also it was the only one with a name we recognised and so we felt more confident in buying it.

The look is sleek and modern we got the entirely black model, it has a nice gloss finish so looks ultra trendy! Its also quite thin which I like so it fits nicely against the wall. On the side of the TV are all of the buttons such as stand by, volume etc. There a bit fiddly to use as there quite low down but nothing too much to worry about.

It comes with its remote control which is nice and easy to use as was the actual set up of the TV, this was the part I was worried about. But no need the instructions that came with it were easy peasy!

It is HD ready which is great as there are more and more channels now becoming HD, however I can not comment on what this is like as I havent yet tried it. But saying that the normal channels are crystal clear anyway!

There is only one drawback about this television set. We bought it around 18 months ago now and over the last couple of weeks we;ve noticed if we leave things on the screen for too long say if we pause a film or if we leave the menu up from the sky box when we go back onto the normal television there is halo mark of what was on the screen. This has started to worry us as we're not sure if it means this television is about to go or if it's just what these televisions are like!

Overall though it is a good tv and I would recommend buying it!
