Bought this TV about 3years ago, when I wanted a HD TV for my Xbox. Didn't realise at the time that it was only 720p, but HD wasn't that big back then.
I paid £300 and it was classed as a Dabs value tv.
The interface for the actual TV is good, no big lag and gets the job done well. The video and audio quality are great once setup to your needs.
Physically the TV is not too big and fits nicely into my bedroom. Remote control is also not too bulky.
Picture quality for the xbox once it is put onto HD is not the best as its only 720p. So if your looking for a TV to get good quality HD picture, then this is not the tv for you.
However if your looking for a TV at a good price and with good picture quality, then here's your tv.
Hannspree Xv 32" TV is great value for money.
I finished uni coming up 2 years ago, and decided that with all my debts to pay off I would INVEST in a tele of a reasonable size for my bedroom to stop me from going and wasting all my money down the pub.
After researching on loads of websites (keeping in mind I just wanted a tv, I didn't care how big, what brand etc) I came across www.clearancebuys.co.uk I looked on the website for TV's and found the Hannspree Xv 32" for £329.00 inc UPS next day delivery.
I am cautious when buying online and do like to know someone that has brought on the site before, but I rang them and asked if they had the tv in stock, which they did and checked out registered addresses etc, it all seemed legitimate so I went ahead online and ordered.
Delivery was excellent, they delivered it the next day to my work address and I was already to set it up that night.
This tv set did NOT come with freeview, but I wasn't told it did, it has a good picture and picks up all 5 channels. I have a Nintendo Wii, Super Nintendo, a DVD player, video player and now a freeview box all hooked up to it. It handles this fine.
The only down side of this tv is (perhaps it's just me though and you 'normal' people that can work with technology may ask what I'm talking about) is I cannot seem to change the tv to scart or video without going through the TV's main menu - a bit annoying but in all honesty I am used to it.
I like the tv, so much so I recommended the tv and website to my parents and low and behold they own one too.
I bought a Hannspree XV32 High Definition ready TV just prior to christmas, I was sick of watching our 19 inch TV in bed. Having searched the internet for a cheap reasonably sized tv. I happened to go onto the Misco.com site looking for something entirely different, there starring at me was the very thing a 32 inch high definition ready tv, the price £299, This included a 2 year warranty. This was a bit big for the bedroom, however I was able to purchase brackets on the same site which would enable the tv to be mounted on the wall, problem solved. This particular model didn't have Freeview installed, however I am advised this matter has also been resolved, and the current models are Freeview enabled. The goods I purchased were delivered to my address the day following purchase and I duly set too fixing my tv ready to watch in bed that night. I had cause to go into the next bedroom which is where my pc's etc are installed and I was surprised to find I now also had four coat hooks. The bolts supplied with the hanging bracket had gone right through the wall. What ever you do, do not ask me to do any DIY on your property.
