I purchased my Hitachi C32PD3000E Plasma Screen TV in November 2003. In the first 4 months I had no problems, excellent picture and sound quality, in fact I was impressed. 31st March 2004 and it happened, when I put the TV in to ?Stand-By-Mode? the set made a continuous clicking sound. I tried to restore the picture without success. I disconnected the power cable and then reconnected, just like the satellite ?Digi-Box? procedure, no joy. I removed the power supply for over 1 hour, on reconnection the picture returned without problem until I came to return to ?Stand-By-Mode? once again the continuous clicking returned. My ...
