I have been looking for a new wide-screen tv for some time, and been waiting for the prices to come down. I knew that I did not want to pay over £1000 for all the bells and whistles, so I looked for a middle of the road model. Searching the web a few weeks ago, I came across a deal from Empiredirect and they were offering a 32" Humax with built-in 160GB PVR for £750.00, reduced from just over £900.
