I have been looking for a new wide-screen tv for some time, and been waiting for the prices to come down.
I knew that I did not want to pay over £1000 for all the bells and whistles, so I looked for a middle of the road model.
Searching the web a few weeks ago, I came across a deal from Empiredirect and they were offering a 32" Humax with built-in 160GB PVR for £750.00, reduced from just over £900.
I then looked throughout the web for the same model and the prices ranged from £929 up to £990, so I went for Empire's deal which included a 3 year warranty.
I am so please with the quality and the picture quality is astonishing. I went from a 20" to a 32", and it was like going to the pictures!
The detail is unbelievable and it is so easy to set up and use, and it has so many adjustments, you cannot go wrong in getting the quality of picture you require.
Searching and recording programmes is the easiest I have ever come across, and the quality of picture is maintained. You can record while looking at another programme and do PIP (picture within picture).
I have no qualms in recommending this TV, and if Empire still has the deal, I would snap it up.
