First things first, it looks damn good!
Will look good on anyone's desk or on their living rooms stand, although not the biggest of televisions it still is HD and therefore, has amazing picture quality.
It has some minor problems however, such as, being unresponsive when turning on or off. Also, for some reason it stops my xbox 360 loading unless i am on the appropriate channel, which is annoying but those without an xbox 360 should not consider this. The HDMI slots are also a little dodgy, and although i cannot guarantee that this is not my particular TV or that it is not my own HDMI cable, it is something to consider if other reviewers have had similar experiences.
Regardless of these problems, I still found my overall experience to be positive, and decided to return it as I didn't find any other TV matching its specifications at a better price. Therefore, i would certainly recommend this TV, yet advise so search around for any more recent TV releases that satisfy your specifications. Thanks :)
Well, Got my sister one of these for her birthday - Can't comment on price though, i work for a wholesaler and so get things at considerably less than most people.
So, even just taking it out the box, i was quite impressed - the thign itself looks quite good, the manual doesn't resemble a largetype version of the bible and its easy to put together the stand. All good!
Switchign it on for the first time was quite interesting - it ran through the setup on its own. Fantastic! Literally, five mins after turning it on it was all ready to roll, and honestly, took no input from myself - i made myself a brew while waiting.
Image quality on it is simply brilliant - its 780p, so HD ready, though not full HD. Colours were sharp and images clear, even on fast paced DVD action.
It has several ports, chiefly two HDMI and two SCART, as well as various audio outputs - see the LG website for details, im not going to bore you to death with the full list here.
The remote is fairly easy to use, though if your sight isn't brilliant you might well want to put your specs on - the writing is appallingly small, which is my one niggle with this whole package.
All in all, i've been very impressed, and as a final seal of approval, my sister hasn't moaned about it at all!
