Bargain. If other LG electronics are anything to go by, I'd stick with LG equipment.

I was treated to this for Christmas as a TV for in my bedroom and does everything I need it to do.

Built in freeview means no need for additional cables (unless you intend on running a Sky box, Blu-ray or whatever through it) and it doesn't take up much space as it's not very deep. It also comes with a stand that again isn't too bulky but can really gather dust.

As it's HD ready you get a really crisp picture when watching TV or gaming which I shall move on to...

With 2 HDMI it means I can use it for both gaming on my Xbox in high definition or as a monitor for a desktop PC.

The menus and initial set up are easy to navigate through with multiple languages available. Retuning it along with other tasks such as altering brightness and sound effects etc etc don't take much effort and it also includes an energy saving mode for all the global warming concious.

Great picture & sound quaity, beautiful design and great features!

I managed to get a great deal with my mobile phone which meant I got this tv for free!
I have now had the tv for just over a month and I can safely say that I have not had any problems with it.
The quality of the picture on the screen is fantastic and the sound quality is perfect!
You can connect the tv to your computer which was a major plus for myself!
The design of the the telly is sleek, sexy and very thin. The stand that comes with the tv allows the tv to swivel either way to adapt to the person who is watching it.
There is also some great energy saving features on the tv when you press menu as well as a sleep time and also (if you like to listen to the telly before bed) a function that turns the screen off after 3 seconds but keeps on playing music or whatever else is on tv!
Overall I am thoroughly impressed with this tv especially as it was free as sometime the free stuff is rubbish but this tv definately bucked the trend!

      Great TV worth every penny!

We bought this about 3 weeks ago after our old, brick of a television packed up. This is the first flat screen we have owned and I cannot rate it high enough! The picture quality is fantastic, every detail is visible (even with my bad eyesight!) and the sound is crisp clear so the volume doesn't even need to be that loud! Its the perfect size too, not too big that it dominates the room and not so small that you cant see the screen! Visually, its very modern; lovely slick black design with a modern curvaceous stand. Its not heavy at all and can be wall mounted easily. My partner is a research addict and strived to get us the cheapest deal possible and this happened to be via Dixons online. It cost £269 and we managed to get free delivery too which was delivered by Currys. So all in all this is a brilliant buy that has everything you need and plenty of sockets for the various consoles and DVD players that men need! The only slight negative is that you have to use the remote to turn the TV on/off and when you do switch it on it takes a few seconds to come to life. Other than that, well worth the money and hopefully it will last us for many years to come!

Well worth the money and has lots of useful features.

We brought this to replace our existing flat screen in our new bedroom about 2 months ago.
We choose a LG over several other makes due to reports that the sound is so much better, and to their credit the sound is far superior to our other tvs. The sound is clear and with a dvd you can hear all the detail that we have been missing.
The picture is clear and even at 720p is very good, strangely the picture is clearer from the sky hd box when set at 1080i then the 720p it should be set to. I believe this is caused by better downscaling by the tv then the old sky box.
The connectors on the tv are easy to get too ,normally placed in a neat layout at the rear. While the usb port is only officially used by service departments a quick google will get you playing films through it. (not done myself yet)
The right hand side has the power buttons if you need them, we only use the sky remote and it works perfectly. I believe the code is 0206. The remote that comes with the tv is pretty ugly but it works well and does all its jobs well.
Overall the energy mode needs to be on to sleep as its very bright but other than that its a feature packed tv with all the features you could ask
      for.

Overall very happy, but haven't had it long

I recently purchased this TV from Tesco for around £320, Ive had it a week or so and so far it has been a brilliant TV. The picture from my sky box is fantastic, there are many connections on the TV to allow me and my partner to connect the DVD player and his consoles. We are very happy with it.
It is also wall mountable, and is extreamly light, I was amazed that I could pick it up without stuggling at all.
The stand that it comes with is easy to attach with screws and looks very nice. The stand is also movable, meaning you can change the direction the TV is facing without scratching your units.
It is also extreamly easy to set up and use, especially if you follow the instructions. It didnt even take us 5 minutes before we were sat with a cup of tea and watching our favourite shows.
My favourite thing about this TV overall is the light which you can just see the outline of in the picture (bottom right hand corner). When the TV is on standby it is has a red glow, but when it is turned on it is a lovely blue colour. I know its sad but it really does look cool.
