Advantages: Good price for a decent sized TV

Disadvantages: Freeview image not great and the settings need a bit of playing with.

I've only had this TV for a few days now having picked it up at Tesco for £329.97. The price isn't too bad having searched around. If you can wait for it you can Quidco it and get 3% back so makes it nearly £10 cheaper.
The TV looks good and has no visible speakers at the front of rear, they're underneath but still fine. The surround is shiney black plastic and will hold dust like mad but when clean looks fab.

Headline figures
1366 x 768 Resolution (so it's HD ready not Full HD), 15,000:1 Contrast Ratio (more than enough and great compared to others I looked at just below this in price), 500cd/m2, 50Hz, Vesa mounting 200 x 200, 11.5kg.

Picture on Freeview
The picture is not the best from the Freeview with the TV. I'm still playing with the settings to refine them but out of the box the screen is far too bright and although the colours are clear and sharp, the clarity on faster moving images is not the best.
Reception is as good as a separate dedicated box and the EPG (programme guide) is very good, definately the best I've seen or used.

Sound quality
The sound quality from the hidden speakers is good and seem much better than the sound I had from my Panasonic TV previously. I haven't played with the settings at all as they seem fine, with plenty of volume if it's needed.

HDMI with PS3
One of the main reasons for the TV was as a gaming TV. At the price there were not many 32 inchers within my price bracket that are made by a decent manufacturer.
Switching between antennae and HDMI is easy and very logical. The image on HDMI is vastly superior to the Freeview image as you'd expect but all of the blurryness and haze go. The TV has a game mode, which darkens the screen further by lowering the backlight strength and changes all of the contrast etc settings. The out-of-the-box settings are ok but having fiddled I have a much better set-up for my PS3. Having played Resistence 2 and KillZone 2, the screen gives enough detail and range of colour to see everything.

Remote control
The remote is very well layed out and I have found it easy to learn where the buttons are. There are not too many as you sometimes get, and the ones that are there are well layed out, a decent size and well spaced.
The handset also has a funky little detail that it has a leather print effect on the main body.

Rear of the TV
The TV has LOTS of connections, way more than I currently need. 3 x HDMI, PC Input, S-Video, 2 x Scart, Component and Headphone sockets.

Overall
I'm pleased so far with the TV and although I still need to fiddle with the settings a bit more and I need to try to improve the Freeview image, it does the main job it was intended for very well.

Thank you for reading the review.

Summary: One of the cheapest TV's I could find from a big name. Seems fine as a gaming TV.
