Great tv for the money with brill sound! (LG 32LG7000)

I have owned this tv set for about a week now, and i am ver pleased with my purchase!

After onths of looking around for a decent 32" LCD Tv we finally settled on this choice.

The spec of the tv is very good, it has 3 hdmi inputs, 2 scart inouts and a slot for a pc card so you can hook it upto your pc! It is HD ready to 1080P, which I saw demonstrated int he shop and it was very clear! At home I have no need yet for HD viewing as I ma still on SD. But SD throught hgis tv is also very clear pciture.

Like all sets you can adjust the brightness and contrast to suit. But it also has a gadget called "intelligent eye" which if you are set to this, then as light adjusts in your room your set will adjust the contrast/brightness ratio to suit. When I had this settting selected you could notice a slight difference in viewing pleasue, but not so much that it distracted you. I find this seeting the best to watch my programmes with.

The actual set is also very good looking. When we were looking at TV, the look was one of the things i was interested in. This may sound fickle, but i did want a nice lloking set, as it is afterall the center piece of the living room. The case for the set is all shinny and black. It lookins like it is a metal case, but i think formt he feel it may be plastic. It comes attached to its own tv stand, which also swivels. The set attaches to the stand via a deep rad coloured plastci ball is the only way i can describe it! But trusts me it looks cool!

The sound form the tv set is alos great. when trying out the tv's int he shop this one by far beat the sony and panasonic i was looking at. We dont have surround sound or anytihng like that so the tv set sound was high priority on my list!

The remote it comes with though is massive! This is probably a downside to the set. There is a button for everything like channels, volume, brightness, simlink. iput, dvd, tv, vcr ect the list goes on! I no some are essetial buttons but most could be combined under a menu for my liking.

Overall the tv is great, i am very pleased with it.
