Great TV for the money (LG 32LH3000)

Advantages: Great value for money Disadvantages: Environmental screen mode is not as brilliant as made out
Shopped around for a long time to choose the "right" TV and this is definately one of the best in its price range. You get the full 1080p which you struggle to find in models of a similar price. The TV has 3 HDMI ports which should be plenty to fit in a Sky box or Virgin box, DVD and games console as well. The sound quality is great for the price. It does have an environmental setting for the screen which has 4 functions (off, light, medium and dark) which in theory will save money however, I have found that you have to adjust this sometimes for each channel that you are watching which can get quite annoying. The TV comes with bulit in freeview which is very easy to set up first time and to update when you need to. The only downside I have found (and this could be because I haven't really needed to) is that unlike other TVs I have seen this one doesn't tell you when the freeview service has been updated and that you need to update your TV like for example recently when ALL freeview TVs needed updating. The remote control takes some getting used to and some of the words are a bit difficult to see for example info and guide (both at the bottom of the remote) one feature that is useful is that the battery compartment cover is attached by a flexible piece of plastic so hopefully shouldn't fall off and get lost! Summary: Overall a very good TV for the price especially with the Full HD
