Note that 5000, 5010, and 5020 are really same product (I asked LG). Looked at this with other 37 inch 1080p TVs in several shops and it always seemed at least as good as anything in its price class and indeed better than some costing rather more. The tuner side works well, our Wharfedale box (about a year old) would drop signal on the non-BBC multiplexes to the extent that on a bad day it was unwatchable, the LG doesn t lose signal at all so far. I should add we are definitely in a poor signal area, we can only get Freeview at all because we re on a hill, the transmitter is almost 50 miles away (obviously we have a serious antenna). If you re picky the picture isn t ...

Rating:
the features - in particular the High Definition aspect of it - enough, but the TV is realiable, great picture and really good quality. The TV looks great (mine is on the wall) and has a nice piano black glossy finish. The sound is good and the setup is really easy. There are plenty of features included (like Freeview) and it ...

money, i took the plunge and bought one. From the moment it arrived on my doorstep, I can honestly say that I have had no problems with it, and in fact it really impressed me to say the least. Initial setup was easy and straightforward - instructions on how to attach the stand were clear and concise and also setting up the picture signal was quick and effortless. The picture settings are also very easy to manipulate and change after the initial setup. I believe I was watching tv after 15 mins of it arriving at my house! I have seen poor reviews for the size and cumbersomeness of the handset. I have never found it to be a problem - to me it is sized the same as any ...
