LG calls it surround MAX. The quality is much better than I expected. I've had this TV for only a month but I really do think its great! The TV looks very stylish, polished black. The speaker is hidden under the screen which confused me a bit when I got it! It also comes with a matching black glossy stand. The HD wasn't amazing with the PS3, Sky HD or DVD players that are HD. I did notice that the picture was quite impressive on normal standard TV. If you don't have Sky HD or Sky HD, the picture quality should be great! The sound is amazing! It was honestly about 5x better than my old TV! The sound comes from 2x10 watt speakers.
