Advantages: Picture quality, ease of use, appearance, features e.g. you watch things on youtube.
Disadvantages: sound quality, built in freeview lacks in picture quality
I bought this TV at just £399 on the Soho Road in Birmingham (so do shop around because I paid way less than most would) and I am over the moon with it, there is probably only one thing I can fault about it which I will come onto later.
The TV looks lovely and is definitely the feature of my living room - the picture on this page does it no justice at all, it is stunning and very modern looking. I am always receiving compliments from my guests about this TV. Oh and not to forget, the TV is huge.
The picture quality is flawless, I only realised the difference when I upgraded from my old non HD TV. As far as I'm concerned, after using this TV, I would never go back to a TV with standard definition picture. Unfortunately I cannot comment on the 3D feature because my Virgin Media doesn't allow for 3D viewing, but personally because of my lazy eye I wouldn't be able to see things in 3D properly anyway.
The TV comes with built in freeview which I find very useful for when my Virgin Media plays up, this is very simple to use unlike a lot of other freeview TV's - It has a TV guide you can bring up with your remote to allow you to easily navigate through your freeview channels. However I have found the picture quality of the built in freeview channels is not as good as the channels I get from my Virgin Media box (even the HD freeview channels).
The only way I can fault this TV is with the sound but this could just be a result of my own tastes. I only like sound with a lot of bass to give me the experience of being in a cinema, and a lot of TVs I've had in the past (Even the ones that are about half a metre thick) have been able to deliver this. The sound on this TV seems far too weak and reminds me of my laptop speakers. This is still the case if you change the sound setting on the TV to the highest bass.
However, for the price I paid for the TV I would have no problem making up for this by buying a home cinema system so this might be worth investing in if you're like me and enjoy good quality sound.
Summary: A great TV, buy it if you can get it cheap!
