LG have finally joined the big league (410 words)by jim w - written on 06/01/09

offer when I visited the local store they duly gave me the TV and Home Cinema for less than the price of the TV, The home Cinema is on sale in Argos for £250. Currys have it on offer for £200.00, If you are seriously thinking about buying this TV , then get down there quick before they withdraw the on-line offer. Don t forget the half price stand offer. It will be a Serano S1050 ( clear) or SB1050 ( black). Highly recommend the SB1050 as it sets off the TV beautifully. Do not be put off by the description that the stand is suitable for smaller sets. The table is only slightly shorter than the TV, but supports up to approx 3 times the weight of the TV. The stand will cost ...

I bought this HDTV just to play Halo 3 on. I play competitively and playing on a smaller screen improves your battle rifle and sniping, so I thought I would write a review on it. Halo 3 looks nice... not great. Compared to my Sony v4000 it doesn't look as vibrant and detailed but for the price and for a smaller set you can't expect wonders. I also tried COD4 which looks better and BioShock which looked the best of the three but the TV did show a weakness in its black levels. To be blunt, don't expect much from the built in speakers. They sound very high pitched and bad quality... but as I used a Turtle Beach headset with 5.1, this didn't bother me as they never get ...

I've had this television/monitor for a few years now and it is still working perfectly fine. I use it primarily as a TV but I have tried it as a monitor and it worked as well as any standard flat screen monitor. It is a very stylish looking television and still looks modern even though it is a few years old. It has a better sense of quality and style than the new cheaper flat screen TVs on the market today. The white casing sets it apart from its rival products and the black border around the screen helps to define the picture. The on/off also lights up blue and is touch sensitive which is a nice added feature. The drawback of this TV is that there are no scart sockets and ...
