Advantages: Massive screen for relatively good money

Disadvantages: Bad sound quality, picture burns into screen

Having purchased this television just over a month ago I am having mixed feelings about it. As far as size goes I obviously can't complain there! The picture quality is very good and the sleek design looks very stylish in my living room. However, I am starting to think I should not have given into my boyfriend (who wanted the ridiculously big screen!) and bought something smaller and better quality. If a massive screen is all you're after then this would be a good bet for you. It is good value compared to other televisions of the same size.

My biggest gripe is the speaker quality. Being a musician I am over sensitive to these things, but I find the sound slightly muffled, especially when you turn up the volume. I do think it is important to look for good speaker quality when purchasing a television. My previoius TV was a Panasonic Viera and the sound on that was fantastic.

The second problem is caused by the screen. Although the quality is very good if you leave one picture on for any length of time it burns into the screen. For example, whilst watching Wimbledon there was a box in the right corner indicating to press the red button to 'Choose Match'. I found that this image lingered in the background for hours after changing the channel. Gets pretty annoying sometimes!

I'm not a technical expert but I know that the quality of this TV isn't the best. If you want a big screen for a reasonable price then go for it. If you are looking for top quality then I would definitely advise you to downsize and go for a Panasonic, Sony or Samsung.

Summary: A good TV, but by no means the best!
