with less glare. I must admit that LG have been brilliant lately and they really are in the forefront with TVs, I would say that Sony have really gone off the boil. Just a little bit more info for those of you not sure whether to get plasma or LCD, plasma (picture made through plasma gasses) can get screen burn, if an image is on for an extended period of time (such as a chanel logo) the screen will retain the image, even when switched off. LCD can be slightly blurry but as long as you are sitting at least four foot away from a ssensible sized TV you won t notice this and the blurring usually occurs through sports, not normal TV. Rating:
The LG Flatron M1917A is a 19" LCD TV I bought about 2 years ago for around £200. I have been using it as a secondary monitor alongside another LG flat screen but as it is a TV as well, I have been able to hook it up to my DVD player via the composite and phono (composite video and audio) and to my Humax Freeview recorder via SCART to watch Freeview programming on it. It has a reasonable number of connection options but lacks DVI, which isn t a problem but would have been a nice alternative to VGA. THE BUILD AND DESIGN The unit is matte black and feels very sturdy so the build quality seems very good. There s also an incomplete hoop around the back for cable ...

on remote controls. Once everything is set up, all we had to do was tweak the brightness/contrast settings slightly and the picture quality was amazing. This is boosted by LG s amazing XD-Engine. This TV is a HDTV so it s perfect for everyone who wants a new LCD TV, as it s cheap for the low-budget people, great picture/sound quality and with it being HD Ready, it s great if you want to get SKY HD ready for the world cup in the summer. I would recommend this TV for anyone wanting an HDTV or even just a new TV. ~~~~~Specs.~~~~~ Screen size: 32" Screen format: 16:9 Pixel resolution: 1366x768 Power output: 20 Watts Tuner: Anolouge Sleep timer On-screen display ...
