I ve not noticed any problems with ghosting during fast action scenes in movies so the refresh rate is reasonable. One thing that TFT and LCD screens can suffer from are stuck or dead pixels. These are dots that are defective and are either stuck on one colour or completely dead so show up black (unlit). I have one stuck pixel on my unit three quarters to the top of the screen.
