tuner side works well, our Wharfedale box (about a year old) would drop signal on the non-BBC multiplexes to the extent that on a bad day it was unwatchable, the LG doesn t lose signal at all so far. which controls brightness is very useful. When using intelligent mode, I ve never had to adjust the brightness even with my TV is next to a large window. LG must have been very proud of this feature as it flashes "Intelligent Sensor" on the screen every-time it adjusts. Fortunately, adjustments do not happen frequently enough to be too annoying.
