I bought this HDTV just to play Halo 3 on. I play competitively and playing on a smaller screen improves your battle rifle and sniping, so I thought I would write a review on it. Halo 3 looks nice... not great. Compared to my Sony v4000 it doesn't look as vibrant and detailed but for the price and for a smaller set you can't expect wonders. I also tried COD4 which looks better and BioShock which looked the best of the three but the TV did show a weakness in its black levels. To be blunt, don't expect much from the built in speakers. They sound very high pitched and bad quality... but as I used a Turtle Beach headset with 5.1, this didn't bother me as they never get ...

going to go ahead and buy a TV, hubby perused the Internet looking for deals and came across what he thought was a good deal in one shop for an LG TV, DVD players and home cinema system. He printed out the information and with that in hand off we went to Currys (since we didn t have a branch of the shop the deal was from in Workington - it might have been PCWorld)). The TV and home cinema set was on sale in Currys, but at a higher price than the one we d seen online. Hubby showed them his print outs, and said that we d buy it if they could match the deal - otherwise we d drive to Carlisle. They were happy to agree so long as we purchased some sort of lead from them which ...

I've had this television/monitor for a few years now and it is still working perfectly fine. I use it primarily as a TV but I have tried it as a monitor and it worked as well as any standard flat screen monitor. It is a very stylish looking television and still looks modern even though it is a few years old. It has a better sense of quality and style than the new cheaper flat screen TVs on the market today. The white casing sets it apart from its rival products and the black border around the screen helps to define the picture. The on/off also lights up blue and is touch sensitive which is a nice added feature. The drawback of this TV is that there are no scart sockets and ...
