      Very helpful

I would like to start off at wow! What an absoloutley astound television. It is almost definately the best television I have ever seen on the market today, and even in the past, and bearing in mind its quality, its weight, and its sheer skinnyness, is extremely good value for money. Also if you bear in mind that this is the latest technology out, and comparing with competing manufacturers such as Sony, the price really does come out in a positive light. I would like to also mention, that I do not own this television unfortunately, but my stinkingly rich aunty in which I am extremely jealous of has just puchased this! And guess who was rang around to help install it - why the hell the technicians at the shop in which she bought it from couldnt help, I have yet to find out. After the installation of the very beautiful TV, i demanded that I was allowed to at least sit on my backside and watch some satelite for at least a 3 hour period, and what a blissful, and pleasureable expreience that was. The installation was very simple. I believe you can get a stand for it, if you do not want to fix it to the wall, but at my aunties house, we fixed it to the wall. It comes with a simple bracket, and all of the necessary fittings required to securely fasten it in to the position you require (although they do not provide you with the screwdriver). I would advise that if you are not confident in drilling holes in to your wall, ask somebody who knows what they are doing, for example a technician who would know where, and where not to drill a hole, without drilling through a power cable. I also know that in some houses in the UK, the walls are made out of plaster board and may not be strong enough to support it. Ask the technicians in the shop in which you purchase it from for more informed advice. If you want to go really mad why not attach it to your ceiling in your bedroom, and watch GMTV in bed as soon as you wake up - a bit too lazy for me, but whateve
r floats your boat. I sat down, and immediately went for the remote control (a long time from the ones attatched with a wire, which was usually too short meaning you had to sit 2 inches from the front of the television). Was a bit disapointed with the remote. Same infra red technology, that is just as tempermental as all remotes. Same interface with all same functions as you would find on any other television. But none the less it is a remote! The picture quality, as I mentioned in the advantages is absoloutley superb. It is extremely smooth, and crisp in both quality and movement (with watching a DVD quality movie, it really does almost look as if you are watching it for real i.e. in real life) I also believe it has an active system control, that adjusts the contrast according to the input (i.e. whether from your satelite box, or from your DVD player) to ensure that no quality is lost in different levels of brightness. Although I do not really know what this means, I can understand that there is some kind of technology that is maintaining the quality at a very high standard - because it is just completely obvious from the quality on the screen. The sound quality, as I mentioned before is absoloutley superb. You could shatter the windows with the sound technology on this baby. It incorporates a bass-reflex woofer (Aero-Hammer Woofer System- whatever that may mean). Again you can tell there is something very new about the technology. I was flicking around the channels, and Titanic came on ( I know - Yawn) But as you know, the sound on Titanic is pretty intense. If you buy this tv, watch titanic on it so you can really appreciate the such high quality of sound. Durability has have heard isnt too good on this machine, or on any of its callibre. Apparantly TFT screens are extremely sensitive to damage i.e. if it falls off the fitting on the wall its a gonner! So be careful. Although relatively light, its very vulnerable to damage - ke
ep the kids away from it! Finally, I`d like to finish on the way it looks. WOW! this is probably the best feel good factor about this television. Its the ferrari of televisions, the aston martin, the porsche! Its sexy metallic shimmer, its slender romantic shape, and plush impressive looking speakers really shouts loud. This is located in my aunties living room, and it just shouts out as soon as you walk in. I would even be inclined to say, more of a centre piece than the fire. If you are wanting the best of televisions, this is the one to buy. Definately one of the best value ones, and definately one of the most sexy! Panasonic, if your television was an actor, I would almost certainly nominate it for an oscar. Absoloutley BRILLIANT!
