After much procrastination and research, I finally got round to buying a new telly: a P Panasonic TX-37LZD80. For the last five years I have been using home-cinema projectors and a 72" fold-away screen, rather than having a big ugly TV in the lounge. My latest Panasonic projector died after just over a year (see separate review) and Panasonic customer services were hopeless so I vowed never to buy anything made by Panasonic ever again. and for watching blu ray disk and this came up top of the list. I can confirm that the picture is the best I have seen on a 32" LCD TV and the sound is superb although I would recomend a home conema system if sound is critical. There are various site on the internet that will help with setting up the contrast/colour settings etc these have proved very useful to getting the best from this TV (don t let having to set up for optimal picture put you off though as this should be done on all TVs to ensure you get the best quality) If i was being picky i would say that the remote control does not feel very responsive at first, and take a little getting used to.
