We bought the Panasonic TX26LXD70 two years ago, just after we finished refurbishing our house. We felt that the size of this TV was perfect to be used in our Kitchen diner. When looking at 26-28 inch models, we were struck by the specifications of this Panasonic which seemed head and shoulders above anything else in the range.

Granted, this TV's price puts it into a different bracket to a lot of the entry models which make up the majority of TVs with this screen size, but the price truly reflects a colossal gap in quality.

The first thing you notice when watching this TV is an unbelievable depth of black colours. Dark pictures come out vibrant and well defined. I have not seen many TVs of any size or price bracket with comparable picture quality. In addition to the good refresh rate and a great visual design of the TV, the functionality is of the highest standard. The freeview set up works a treat and the entire menu is built with the customer in mind.

The TV enjoys a large number of HDMI & SCART ports for its size and is compatible with standard VOSA bracket systems.

When people come round to our house, we hear frequent remarks as to the quality of the set. I would easily buy this TV again if I was in the market for a new 26 inch set.
