The Remote is of very high quality also. ---- Picture and Sound--- Picture quality is great on this TV. Resolution is easily as good as the other major brands. ---- General --- I bought my Philips 26” LCD a week ago whilst searching for a replacement for a smaller Sony one. There are so many to choose from these days with so many different manufacturers. I was recommended a Philips by a person who was heavily involved in Sony TV division. ---- Build Quality --- The TV is completely silver. I like this kind of clean look to a TV.
