There are so many to choose I wanted HD for my kids Xbox 360 and are SKY HD. I looked around various sites and decided to buy the Philips 26PF5321/10 26 -inch HDTV-ready flat-panel. This at the time was one of Philips latest technology LCD screens featuring 1,366 x 768 wxga screen, with a 3d digital filter to eliminate dot and colour bleeding, this enhances the finer details of the display picture and the LCD I have noticed overall. The TV was easy to set-up as it has 2 HDMI imputs and 2 scart socket on the back as well as the old favourite aerial imput. General: I love this TV. Well actually i love most Philips products, i have so many Philips things in my house. This tv looks great. Its 26 inch widescreen with a wide sturdy silver base which allows the tv to tilt backwards slightly. I m, not sure by how much though. I d say around 30 degrees. The tv has a built in tv tuner which usually works fine except a couple of times if you turn the tv onto stand by with the digital turner on then when you turn the tv back on sometimes you will have to turn the tv off and back on at the wall as the freeview just goes fuzzy. a smaller Sony one. There are so many to choose from these days with so many different manufacturers. I was recommended a Philips by a person who was heavily involved in Sony TV division. Build Quality - The TV is completely silver. I like this kind of clean look to a TV. You seem to get that precise and efficient look with it sitting on the TV stand, clean cut no nonsense type feeling. On a whole the TV looks well built and well finished. When you get it you have to attach the stand yourself. This is easy to do and is done using a few screws to attach the base to the TV. I can however see a few people damaging the back of the TV whilst doing this but hey it is better ...
