I would like to start this review by saying that buying this TV had given me my faith back in technology and famous brands. I am saying this because we had a bit of a bad start after acquiring a Samsung tv similar to this Philips one and we were really disappointed with Samsung. It could be that we were unlucky but I think it was a stroke of luck really as I then turned my attention to Philips after reading reviews on Amazon and chose this very one. General: I love this TV. Well actually i love most Philips products, i have so many Philips things in my house. This tv looks great. Its 26 inch widescreen with a wide sturdy silver base which allows the tv to tilt backwards slightly. I'm, not sure by how much though. I'd say around 30 degrees. The tv has a built in tv tuner which usually works fine except a couple of times if you turn the tv onto stand by with the digital turner on then when you turn the tv back on sometimes you will have to turn the tv off and back on at the wall as the freeview just goes fuzzy. Phillips know how to package a TV with just enough features to keep you interested but not too many to confuse. Good picture and sound. EPG could be better and remote layout/symbols not the greatest. Handbook ok but doesn't advise on how to fit Digital+ card. In all though good buy, few quirks but for the price and the brand no worries.
