wanted one of these televisions for ages so at xmas we decided instead of buying each other presents we clubbed together & bought one. When we saw this TV in the shop we where a bit unsure as to how good the ambilight would be as we where not mounting the TV on a wall & every shop we went into displayed it like that. We threw caution to the wind & went ahead & bought one anyway & even though our TV is on a normal stand the lights work very well indeed. The picture quality of this tv is amazing & the ambilight glow that radiates from the sides of the TV makes the viewing experience even better. You can choose how bright you want the lights to be, ...

had rounded down the choice between this or a Samsung with very similar spec and price, but this Philips had obviously the best picture. ===Size=== This is a 32 inch. Our living room is only 12ft x 12ft so we didn t want it completely dominating the room. Also, because of plug and arial sockets it had to fit into a certain corner. It is a perfect fit, and as I mentioned above, I m glad the speakers aren t on the sides as it would have made it even bigger. The television and stand were delivered (with no problems!) a few days later and we quickly set to work setting it up. The instructions were very clearly set out on a fold out leaflet with large pictures set ...

being one of them and 2 HDMIs (for HD ready devices). You dont get the new Philips pixel perfect HD E-Processing or the new back lighting system which is introduced in the top range in this line. Then again the TV does only cost around £400-£450. Philips though have produced a good looking TV, which sits on a black glass table top swivel stand. It has a glossy all black face with silver column and buttons to give it that extra touch. The TV has speakers which are descreetly tucked in under the screen and the silver comumn has a neat built in loop to keep the cables and wires well hidden from view. This gives you an end result of a compact and organised TV. The ...
