buttons on the side of the Tv (on/off, sound, channel etcc.) which we;ve never needed to use. The remote control batteris have lasted us nearly 2yrs! The other problem i have experiended is that 1 side of the ambilights has broken for some reason, there is an easy to find customer help on the Philips website and they will give you a number to call about getting it fixed/replaced. great colour balance, and for a 32 inch doesn t have bad sound at all. Sound is something that normally suffers with a tv this size. Another big plus is the remote, the remote is wonderfully designed and is robust, you aren t going to have any problems there. Whilst this is a great television, it s not perfect, it is a tv that is quite time consuming to set up, however you really do see the benefits when you spend the time setting it up. Also it s isn t the best in outright black details. The last thing i will say that brings the tv down a touch is the freeview guide, where with brands like LG and Samsung you have an outstanding layout, the Phillips is slightly ...

had rounded down the choice between this or a Samsung with very similar spec and price, but this Philips had obviously the best picture. ===Size=== This is a 32 inch. Our living room is only 12ft x 12ft so we didn t want it completely dominating the room. Also, because of plug and arial sockets it had to fit into a certain corner. It is a perfect fit, and as I mentioned above, I m glad the speakers aren t on the sides as it would have made it even bigger.
