Philips 26PF5521D ... would like to start this review by saying that buying this TV had given me my faith back in technology and famous brands. I am saying this because we had a bit of a bad start after acquiring a Samsung tv similar to this Philips one and we were really disappointed with Samsung. It could be that we were unlucky but I think it was a stroke of luck really as I then turned my attention to Philips after reading reviews on Amazon and chose this very one. We ve owned it for over a year and it has been amazing in terms of picture quality and sound quality. Well done Philips. Philips 26PF5521D ... I love this TV. Well actually i love most Philips products, i have so many Philips things in my house. This tv looks great. Its 26 inch widescreen with a wide sturdy silver base which allows the tv to tilt backwards slightly. I m, not sure by how much though. I d say around 30 degrees. The tv has a built in tv tuner which usually works fine except a couple of times if you turn the tv onto stand by with the digital turner on then when you turn the tv back on sometimes you will have to turn the tv off and back on at the wall as the freeview just goes fuzzy. Philips 42PFL5522D ... ve had this 42" Hd ready lcd television for a little over a year now and i m very pleased with it s performance and has served me well, this model does everything you need it to do and does it well. It has two hdmi sockets at the back for your Hd needs like blu-ray players and playstation 3 or xbox 360. This machine is full HD and shows films in 1080p and 1080i, games get shown in 720p instead. This set has freeview built in and the screen size can be changed from widescreen to letter box then 4:3, 14:9, 16:9.
