Good performer, but with limitations inherent with a smaller set like this.

Advantages: A nice tv with good features and decent picture quality
Disadvantages: Sound isn't brilliant.
I bought this model of Samsung flat screen models for my daughter's bedroom. It has all the standard features you'd expect along with a great build quality, something I always look for.
I'm wary of buying cheaper TV's because they are lacking in either features or picture quality - and an often overlooked feature, which is the ability to view the screen at wide angles. In other words, you can still see the screen clearly even at quite acute angles left or right.
This TV has a very good range of angle, a very good contrast and brightness with vivid colours. This is important if you are not going to be always sitting in front of the TV to watch it.
The sound isn't all that great if you are used to a larger TV, but if you really needed to you could hook it up to speakers via a hi-fi or whatever using audio out.
Another slight issue is that is 'only' has 720p Hi Definition rather than the 1080p on larger models. However, this really isn't too much of an issue as a 19inch screen looks very sharp even at standard quality. Would you really notice the difference of 1080p over 720p on this TV? - Probably not.
It has plenty of inputs and outputs so that you can hook up a Sky system, games system and DVD / Blu-Ray player in various ways.
There are also lots of manual settings to change if you want a different sound or picture. It also looks great, very stylish and modern. You can remove the base and wall mount with a suitable bracket. Just remember to ensure you can still connect your HDMI cables etc when putting up your bracket on the wall, so allow enough space behind the TV.
I normally look for Sony TV's if I'm in the market to buying a new one. Yes, they are expensive but they are quality. Samsung are not far behind in my opinion and I would always consider these two makes if you get a price you are happy with.
Setting up is easy - plug and play with auto tune etc. Once set up, changing between TV, scart or HDMI inputs is straight forward.
For a bedroom or kitchen TV this is ideal as long as you are happy with the gloss black sleek look. It won't take up space and can be wall mounted without too much trouble as it's not heavy.
One final thought - consider carefully before you buy a smaller set like this. 19inch sounds quite large, but as its wide screen it can be smaller than you imagine. Definitely take a look at one in a store if you aren't sure.
Summary: Good all round peformer if you are looking for a smaller set.
