The Samsung Series 5 comes with full 1080P High Definition when compared to the Series 4. I decided to spend the extra cash to make the most of my equipment and go for the full HD model. I ordered the TV from Empire Direct who has now been bought out by Richer Sounds. The TV was delivered in a rather large box containing a 40" TV, remote control, instructions and a cleaning cloth. It cost roughly £600 9 months ago with a Samsung upscalling dvd player included. I believe it s still around the same price... Its been a bitter-sweet day - a fond farewell to the outgoing 28in Philips CRT, and a warm welcome courtesy of ARGOS to a very glossy and impressive Samsung Series 5 40in 1080p! Now, I was worried the leap in scale to a 40in tv might be too much for my living-room but the moment this black-beauty was installed to the corner-cabinet where its predecessor once sat it looked immediately at home and not at all oppresive to its surroundings. The LE37A436T is part of Samsung s Series 6 Range and features a 37 inch widescreen LCD capable of displaying a 720p picture (meaning you can watch High Definition content, ie: Sky HD or BluRay).
