Before I bought this TV I had a 21" TV that was as deep as it was wide and wasn't even flat screen. I then bought an XBOX 360 and decided enough was enough and I needed to look into getting a TV with high definition technology to get the most out of my viewing. So after long searching of the internet I found this little beauty. I bought it for the reasonable price of around £420 and so far i'm glad i've bought it. haven t tried watching anything on scart to see if picture-in-picture works on that but I have had TV through an aerial so I can work on the PC with TV in the corner and I can get the DVI (PS3) to show up in the corner in PC mode. I count my chickens with this TV, it was one of the very first Samsung HDTVs and its yet to let me down in regards to hooking up a new console or device thats released. With our old 32” TV on it's way out we decided to go for a bigger screen. Our main reasoning for this is that our youngest son has very poor eyesight, so the bigger the picture the more he can see. We also needed the TV to have a refresh rate of 100Hz as he has photosensitve epilepsy. The only question really, was whether we should go for a plasma or rear projection??
