Having owned a number of Samsung TVs in the past I decided to purchase this TV. First test was with my XBox 360 - excellent, no noticeable 'input lag,' and the colors were vibrant. The picture is very bright as you would want in your TV but wouldn't expect in a smaller screen. High definition looks good on this TV but not as good as a bigger screen and standard definition looks okay; but again not as good as a bigger screen. The sound on the television is pretty average. It isn't the worst, but it isn't the best. I think it is about what you would expect for a television of this size. If you want to hear it really well I would add some additional speakers. The best thing about the TV is the features it offers. It has built in Apps (such as Netflix, Amazon etc..., WIFI and the option to connect an external HDD by way of USB. The navigation buttons on the television are easy to operate and they beep when you select them. A further feature which I really took to when I took the TV out of the packaging was the neat chrome stand. It is in a half moon shape and the TV just slots on to the two raised stands, there are no screws or screwdrivers needed. The TV screen is underneath a glass front which will be easy to clean with a duster now and again so the actual screen will never become scratched or dirty.
There is a guide to help with television set up on screen. To sum it up:
Pros: good value, good picture quality, built in features, light weight and nice looking
Cons: poor sound quality, web browser is slow to react
Despite the few cons; I would still highly recommend this television.
Uses and Features:
The TV is 26" (which is big enough for a bedroom or guest room) I find the quality to be really good and find the audio is about the same. If your looking to play games consoles on full 1080p then I wouldst recommend this TV as it runs 720p (which isn't a big issue but some people might have a problem with this).
Problems Ive had with this TV mainly involve the colour system on the TV as there seems to be a lot of Blue more than normal colours, when you look through the colour schemes you can sort this issue out so this isnt something you should worry about.
The TV is remarkably light
Firmware updates can be made through the TV
Quality for money apart from issues with the picture quality
The Stand is fixed so you cant remove it (could be a problem for people who want to use a wall mount)
Issues with the picture quality and settings.
A great TV unit apart from picture issues and problems getting the channels to look how you want.

Like my MacBook pro my samsung too is thin. Looks like im a sucker for thin. With it's luscious LED backlight, its smooth, intensifying surface, its thin body, beautiful voice (audio) i'm not quite sure why I dont just marry it. The features are very appealing which makes the games all the more exciting, movies feel more realistic and you can even attatch it to your laptop or computer. More intricately put: the Dolby Digital surround sound will give such pleasure to your ears that it is designed to accomodate to sounds which are most pleasing to the ears (even when you turn up the volume.!)
This 26 inch beauty allows you to indulge into its bright screen which illuminates itself and makes situations come to life. When I was watching paranormal activity on this my neighbours knocked on my door not because of the sound coming from the LED but because of the sound of my screams. Funny thing is I watched it on my old laptop the HP Pavillion and actually wasn't too scared.
Then again the excitement of playing games in HD is far more appealling especially when this samsung beauty plays with your aural and visual senses. Playing games like Call of Duty, Modern Warfare, Halo, Fifa and Pro Evo have never been better and trust me I have played on many LCDs. I prefer playing on my smaller 26 inch Samsung rather than my 50 inch Sony Bravia because this small little package entails a plethora of newer and better features.

It is very heavy and you must buy a wall bracket as you dont want to risk breaking this £400 product. However, a stand will suffice but if you have kids in the house it is recommended that you buy a wall bracket.
A good buy?
Definitely. I love my LED and my Macbook pro. Two of the best buys I have ever made. If i had to choose one. I would go with the Macbook but who would choose a TV over a laptop? Go to your nearest Currys, PC world, Argos. Or find it online at Ebay, Amazon and google shopping.

I bought this LCD TV for my bedroom a couple of months ago to replace my old set. Been for my bedroom, it didnt have to be big as I would only be using it occasionally. I have always trusted Samsung, and I have many other electrical items made by them.
I took the tv home and setup was quick and simple. I just plugged the tv in, and after just a couple of button presses the scan began for the channels. Most tvs now come with very simple installation programmes and this Samsung was no different. I sometimes use the tv for my games consoles, and the picture quality really brings the games alive, the sound quality is also very good, the built-in speakers do a very good job.
Unfortunately the tv doesnt allow the user to switch the power off entirely unless the plug is switched off. By leaving the television on stand-by when not in use is a poor feature This is a very reasonably priced television for Samsung, and should certainly be on any shortlist if you are looking for a tv of this size.I would definately recommend this tv for a spare room or for occassional use.
I bought this TV about 6 months to replace my 10 year old TV. And I have not been disappointed! I use it to play my PS3 games in stunning HD, and it looks great! It looks greats, sounds great, and feels great. I'm gonna buy surround sound soon to give it a movie feel, so hopefully it'll be even better than it is now!
I would say that installation took quite a while to set up, because attaching the base unit onto the TV was rather difficult with the size of the screws.
I bought it at Comet for £299.99, so slightly cheaper than the prices shown here, and it is definitely worth the price, just due to the picture quality alone. There is also a PC port which allows you to connect your computer onto the TV, should you want to.
The sound quality is also very good, meaning that the in-built speakers are pretty good.
However, I would recommend switching the plug off after you've watched the TV because when you switch is off, there is always a red stand-by light, which doesn't seem to go unless the plug is switched off.
However, overall, I would recommended this to anyone, because it is relatively cheap, and of good picture and sound quality.
