Advantages: Good value, many features.

Disadvantages: Not great sound quality, surround scratches easily, no digital tuner.

Had one of these for a year now. Very reliable no problems, good value also. Good range of input sockets on the rear, can even be connected to a PC.
Sound quality is average from the built in speakers, you really need a home cinema with this TV.
The picture is largely good, but if reception is bad, then the picture begins to 'ghost'.
The remote control is easy to use, and the on screen displays are easy to tune the channels with. No digital tuner though.
It can be a little slow to wakeup from standby, needing a few presses of the remote.
This TV has the dual sound feature, so if you are using it abroad you can change the soundtrack back to the original, which is useful.
Not too much to criticise then, one final thing, the 'piano black' screen surround is very easy to scratch, perhaps this is why Samsung supply a special extra soft cleaning cloth?

Summary: A good value modern TV.
