Samsung are riding high at the moment and although it seems to be their mobile phones which are stealing the limelight just now, we must not forget that they have been building quality televisions for several years now.
This 26 inch TV with built in Freeview does not disappoint and from day one, all it needs for you is to plug it in and switch it on. After that it literally sets everything up itself and is so simple a five year old could do it.
The remote too is simple and logical and you don't need to be a rocket scientist to understand it! Although 40 and 50 inch TVs in the living room seem to be the norm these days I am more than happy with this one in my main room. I am sure I will eventually upgrade to a bigger size but if I do, it will certainly be another Samsung!
The TV is HD ready and previously I wondered if HD would make any difference but now I have just installed Sky HD I can tell you that the difference is like night and day. The Samsung has a stunning picture with exceptional clarity and vivid colours, especially stunning when watching wildlife or scenic programmes in HD.

I have listened to some more modern TVs and was not impressed with their "tinny" sound but the Samsung has no such issues and is equally good transmitting concerts, films or dialogue.
To be honest I have had this TV for a few years now but would not even consider replacing it because all I have ever done is plug it in, switch it on, and switch it off. No problems whatsoever at all in all the time I have owned it.
