Advantages: Beautiful sleak design.

Disadvantages: Sound can be quiet at times.

ou get what you pay for with this model tv, Samsung have quickly become one of the go to manufacturers for all kinds of futuristic, sleek looking gadgets and doo-dads, this tv is an excellent example of why they've gained this reputation.

My primary use for this set is for gaming, the hdmi slot allows for your PS3 or XBox 360 to easily link up and start putting out a hd image, which, when seen for the first time, is simply jaw dropping, technology has surely advanced in the last decade, this clearly being the next step.

The TV comes with a pretty extensive built in menu, allowing the user to change many aspects of the image, brightness, contrast, saturation etc, basically in the unlikely event of you being unhappy with your picture, there's probably something you can change about it.

Sound is definitely enough to keep you happy, but in some cases, possibly the dvd or other medias fault, the sound does seem to seem a bit quiet, occasionally i've found myself cranking the volume to 100 and still struggle to hear, which is odd, worth noting that sound during any game i've ever played on it has been beyond amazing.

My favorite thing about this TV is the design I think, I'm not entirely sure what it is, but when seeing one of these, up against the competition, they just seem perfect, it could be the roundness of the edges, the shiny finish, simple interface, one button on the front, a number of clear plastic on the side, it just looks as stylish as something can get.

Extras include picture in picture, watch tv whilst gaming, or hook up your PC and multi task, a nice 'Game Mode' modifies the contrasts for the best image in gaming. Also if that's not enough the built in Freeview box allows for a decent number of extra channels.

Overall, I can't recommend this set enough, it might be more expensive than others of it's size but with good reason, the reliability and capabilities of this tv are all to the highest standard.

Summary: A must own anyone looking to make the jump to hd in a stylish manner.

I've had one of these for about a year and agree with you - it's excellent. The styling is pleasing mainly because of its simplicity.

I'd have been interested to know what you think of the remote control too: whether it's got the features you want, and whether it's intuitive to use.
