First off what a lovely TV this is even if it is only series 4 of the samsung LCD TV panel range - and what a bargain sub £300 at some outlets - it also comes in White which is great for modern homes and bedrooms

OK review time We purchased the Samsung LE32A457 32" HD Ready LCD TV having had a pretty bad experience after purchasing An HD Ready TV from a local source. We had nothing but trouble trying to install it and every time we phoned their help line we got a different excuse every time. Firstly we were told we required a booster, which made no difference, then we were told that it was the ariel. We paid to have all this checked by an engineer and he said that he could not find any fault in these items and that it was the TV that was at fault. We returned it to the store who said they have not heard of any faults. On Amazon we found a terrific selection of TV's and purchased the Samsung, plugged it in and hey presto off it went searching for free to air channels and has been a great performer since. The picture is very good especially if you plug in a dvd upscaling player with HDMI leads - WOW WOW WOW what a picture and the sound is impressive too at 6 out of 10
