Advantages: Great picture, above par audio for TV's
Disadvantages: Only one HDMI so only okay for multiple high def devices if you have an amp
The first Samsung product I ever bought and I was incredibly impressed. The price was reasonable and at the time this TV has some of the best specifications on the market.
Picture: The picture quality on this Tv was fantastic, boasting a great contrast ratio and a decent brightness. After a bit of tweaking I got the picture perfect. Reception through the built in Freeview reciever was fantastic and a massive boost to viewing quality. I found the blacks dark and deep and gaming on this TV was fantastic, especially when turning on gaming mode. I found Blu-rays also looked incredible on this TV.
Sound: Like most TV's the sound isnt comparible to seperate speakers, however in comparison to other TV's I found the sound quality on this TV to be one of the best.
Build Quality: This TV was well built, has a fairly low power consumption and didnt run too hot.
Connections: At the time of buying this TV it has all the connections I could need. Although I there was only one HDMI port I had an amp with HDMI throughput so had multiple devices connected through that. I also had my PC connected to the DVI connection on the back. I was also able to output audio from my TV to my amp via SPDIF. This TV is 720p which is really as high as you need for a 32 inch TV.
Overall: Though I have replaced this TV with another Samsung (40 inch and 1080P) I have kept it and moved it to the bedroom where it has continued to perform gloriously. Even now its gets as much use and my new TV. As of yet I have had no issues with this TV and there are absolutely no dead pixels. Although dated, if able to get one cheap enough I would recommend this TV to anyone.
Summary: Great TV that I would recommend to anyone
