We bought this TV for our sitting room sometime in 2006 and it is still going perfectly! We're very impressed by the quality and some of it's features:

High definition quality

We need to purchase an HDTV box from Sky to get HD reception but when we played a few sample HD videos through the PC laptop, they played very well and the sound quality was awesome as though u were really there.
We played an F1 car racing video. The sound was much richer and clearer than normal and the video quality also had much finer detail and seemed more vibrant in colour.

Features

It has all the features you'd expect from a modern television including menu selection, ports for consoles or DVD and more:

PC connectivity - It turns into a PC monitor for your desktop or laptop just by connecting it up. When we bought this TV it didn't come with the necessary cable but we got that from PC world. Many TV's sold nowadays come with this accessory.

Split screen - Allows you to have two output windows at the same time; one for PC or Console game and the other for TV so you can watch and listen to TV while working on your laptop even.
Note: I also own an LG HDTV monitor but it doesn't have this feature.

Conclusion

Very good value for money and perfect for everyone. Has a couple of extra features as mentioned above which stand out from other TV's perhaps.
