I was lucky enough to fall on just over £500 a little while ago and decided to treat myself by buying a HD ready tv for my bedroom.

As a keen gamer and owener of a Playstation 3, i wanted a television that could cope with the demands of a HD games console.

I read many good things about the way that this television handles games and i certainly wasnt dissapointed. It has a built in game mode that when activated helps to prevent any motion blurring or any other distortion that games may cause, this results in a near perfect picture when playing games.

I am also a huge movie fan and therefore was anxious to see how this television performed when viewing a movie, as the playstation 3 has a dvd upscaler built in, combined with the already superb picture of the television it produced a perfect picture.

As there is cureently only a low level of HD programming available, there is little chance to test the HD capabilites of the television. However, using the BBC HD channel, i have watched several football games and the BBC HD preview and it has shown a great picture.

The motion smeering\blurring when watching sports or other fast moving programmes is almost undetectable on HD and minimal on standard viewing.

Above all else, the TV offers excellent value for money as i fail to see how many televisions can possibly offer a better picture and\or sound, especially for the money.

If you are looking for a 32" HD television, i would strongly recommend that you consider this set as it is very capable and also very stylish with its underneath lighting up in a subtle aqua blue type colour when the set is on.

Upon purchasing this television, i would suggest googling the optimum settings for the tv picture and then through trial and error, getting the perfect picture for you. Use the advice on forums and turn the various settings on and off etc until it is perfect.

It will take some time but with a little patience, perfection can be achieved.
