Advantages: The HD Picture Quality!

Disadvantages: Gives Out A Lot Of Heat!

I bought 2 TV's for my house recently. One for the main lounge and another for the bedroom as my old TV's were slowly giving up!

I bought a 42" Toshiba for the lounge and this 32" Samsung for the bedroom and I will be totally honest I find the Samsung to be my favourite out of the 2. The most likely reason for that will be because I use the Samsung a lot more as spend a lot of time watching the TV in bed and also play my PS3 on this TV.

The picture quality of the TV is fantastic, as with all Hi Def tv's it transforms into a different TV when you have a Hi Def source plugged into it. I use my PS3 via HDMI as a Blu Ray and Games Console and the picture is pristine and clear with the colours vibrant on screen. Although it has a screen resolution of up to 720p I have had it in 1080i and works fine, although no difference between the 720 & 1080 resolution! The sound is also fantastic, clear and loud just how I like it. You can change the settings on the tv depending on what you are using it for, i.e Games, Films, TV so the sound refelcts what you are doing.

I am in an area where I can't get Sky (stupid trees blocking the signal!), or Cable so my only life saver is Digital TV, and as this great tv comes with an in built tuner you get all the digital channels such as E4, Sky News etc. This is a nice feature as you don't need an ugly set top box to get Digital channels.

The TV itself is modern and sleek, but be warned it does give off a lot of heat when it has been on for a few hours. It acts like a little heater in the bed room and means the radioators don't have to be on full in the winter! Maybe a bonus depending on which way you look at it?! The Samsung also has a Universal Remote so you can sync it up with your DVD, Sky Box or video player, although I haven't bothered with that function. The TV quality is ok with Digital channels, and is watchable, although to get the best out of the TV you want to watch tv with Sky HD or something along the same lines. As I watch a lot of Blu Ray films using the PS3 that is when I fully make the most of this Samsung.

Hi Def TV's are always coming down in price, and this one is worth every penny. Shop around and I am sure you will get a bargain on this model.


I have always liked Samsung, and this TV just confirms why!
