Advantages: Cheap and easy to use

I've had this TV now for just over a year and I'm still very pleased with it.

Asthetically, it's very nice to look at with a black glossy finish, as is common with most Samsung televisions. It has built in freeview, and the initial set up is easy, with the TV automatically attempting to find the channels.

The picture is good, though the black isn't as deep as I would like. I had thought on purchase that this television was full HD as opposed to HD ready but I've recently tried finding information relating to this to satisify my own curiosity but can not find out. The reason for me not being sure is that there appears to be a bit of a grainy quality when watching blu-rays, although this could be the films themselves.

One thing that let's the Tv down is that when you want to change the source channel (for instance, the AV channel to HDMi channel) you have to cycle through them, rather than get a menu and go straight to it. Each time the source channel changes the screen goes blank for a few seconds, which can be irritating.

Overall though, for a budget lcd TV this is a good, easy to use television.
