Advantages: Great picture and sound quality, looks great, very thin
Disadvantages: None
Samsung have been designing quality TVs for years now, and started selling LCD and plasma TVs around 6 or 7 years ago. The LE-40 is one of their latest TVs in a fantastic range that has been given great reviews over the year for its stellar quality and style.
The LE-40 has a fantastic HD picture quality in 1080p, and I was shocked by how good it was when I first turned on my TV, and that was before I had even connected it up to an HD channel. The colours are all vivid and the amount of pixels (there are five times as many on a 1080p TV) gave the picture a really sharp edge.
The TV itself looks very nice, the black colours are minimalist and yet bold, they are very stylish. On every TV in this range there is a large on off centre button and a strip at the bottom, it all looks very nice and I love the look that this TV gives, it is so important for a TV to look good as in many cases it is the centrepiece to a living room, so it cannot look shoddy.
On the back of the TV, which is very thin, you will find a variety of ports on the back of the TV. There are three HDMI ports available on the back of the TV, so users will be able to plug three different HD machines into their TV at once. These different ports make the TV very versatile, there are so many different options that can be made using these.
I would certainly recommend that any potential buyers purchase this TV, it works very well and does everything required of it. It gets an outstanding five stars for doing everything it should really well.
Summary: A really nice TV
