Upon checking this is something that the TVs come with and can be sent back to Samsung to have a new screen surround on or new TV but unless you look closely this can't be noticed unless you live with someone who obessess over these things. I would recommend this TV but I would also recommend searching around for the best price as we found that different shops and online stores varied so much in price....more

The decision to buy a TV of this size is huge to the variety and relatively similar prices ranges when you reach this size, but I can say this TV is brilliant. The TV is black but has the Samsung "rose" finish so if you look at it from the right angle or with the sunlight through the sides you can see the red effect. The TV stand is very easy to remove so that you can put this on the wall and the difference between this and the 7 series samsung is that you don't have the 2 light sources coming down from the bottom of the TV. The TV comes with 4 HDMI ports which is great, we haven't used all of the HDMI ports yet but have got a PS3 in one and V+ box in one, ... Read the complete review
