- OK, so after months of thinking I had found the right TV and then being told it sucked - I finally stumbled across a TV known as the Samsung LE40N87BD - a high definition 1080p set. I should first mention here that the LE40N87 model is extremely similar to the "LE40M86BD" & "LE40M87BD" models, the only differences are their physical looks & that the M86/87 uses a reflective screen with a 15,000:1 contrast ratio whereas the LE40N87BD uses a non-reflective matte screen with a 10,000:1 contrast ratio (much better in my opinion, I hate it when televisions suffer from lights reflecting off the screen). This is a really great TV, i bought it when at one of it's first weeks on the market, and i still love it, got a great picture, i just dont use, samsungs image improving, Dni-e i think it's called. It makes the picture over expose with brightness. Though it is quite good looking on analouge tv signal, Dni-e makes the picture blury, with blue-ray. ...

The Samsung is the perfect bedroom or kitchen TV, by this comment i mean that it is far to small to keep everyone entertained in the lounge but is the right size to have on the side in the kitchen or bedroom, I bought this TV about 3 years ago when it was for sale in Curry s. I have never regretted purchasing it, the TV itself is thin and looks sleek with a silver and black finish and a matt style screen. It s very thin and can be wall mounted of can sit on its stand which holds it firmly and securely. However its not the looks that make this TV it s the connectivity that makes it a must, along with the usual suspects i.e. scart this TV has a Phono board taking video and ...
