Rating:
for the Samsung, because it had many positive reactions. The things I liked about the Samsung were the high contrast 50:000:1 and the 100Hz system. It seemed that the TV in the shop wasn t that big as the one we have in our home. That was probably because there a lot of televisions next to each other in the shop. Me and my boyfriend were really terrified of the format and we were thinking about the fact if we would exchange for a smaller one. However, after a couple days I got used to the big screen and now I am very happy with it. I still haven t got any problems with fan noises or white spots. The remote control is very beautiful. There aren t too many buttons. ...

my equipment and go for the full HD model. I ordered the TV from Empire Direct who has now been bought out by Richer Sounds. The TV was delivered in a rather large box containing a 40" TV, remote control, instructions and a cleaning cloth. It cost roughly £600 9 months ago with a Samsung upscalling dvd player included. I believe it s still around the same price... Firstly, due to the piano black gloss design it attracts a lot of dust and finger prints. The anti static cleaning cloth really does the job leaving it almost free from dust after a swift wipe. The TV sits on a swivel base; buttons are located down the left hand side and the front connection sockets on ...

to the outgoing 28in Philips CRT, and a warm welcome courtesy of ARGOS to a very glossy and impressive SAMSUNG Series 5 40in 1080p! Now, I was worried the leap in scale to a 40in tv might be too much for my living-room but the moment this black-beauty was installed to the corner-cabinet where its predecessor once sat it looked immediately at home and not at all oppresive to its surroundings. The unpack and set-up are truly effortless, literally within a minute of powering-up the digital receiver had located all channels and we were off! The remote matches the tv s gloss too, easy to navigate and well thought-out. In terms of road-test it s still early days but already I ...
