Now this is the bad point about Samsung, the fault that I have just explained above is a well known fault with Samsung TV s and Samsung know this themselves yet they still make their TV s knowing this and generally don t really care, this fault is known to occur after around 2 years of using the TV. There are two options if this happens to your TV, either send it back to Samsung to be repaired for the princely sum of £150, remember they know of this fault and this is probably just another one of their ways to make even more money out of us. turn on and get fully bright, a bit like an old CRT television would. The sound from the Samsung is pretty good and there are a range of options to fine tune it to your tastes. There are a number of built in sound styles or you can customize your own. It doesnt do bass sounds very well and the speakers will crackle if you turn it up loud with high bass on. Having said that for watching every day tv via freeview or sky, or even playing computer games through it, its a pleasure to use and watch. really recommend it. Samsung really produce some nice looking products at great prices. The only downside to a 32 inch tv is that quite a big stand is required. Make sure that you dont get too tall a stand for the room its going in as the tv is wide but can get dwarfed on a 3 shelf stand - otherwise is built for walll hanging ...
