can feel let down by the picture and sound quality that somehow seems inferior to their old bulky box that previously took up half of the living room. The Samsung LE – 32R73BD is a 32” flat panel LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) TV, incorporating a digital freeview receiver and is reasonably priced but certainly not the cheapest at around £650.00. The same TV can be bought without the inclusion of a digital freeview receiver for around £70.00 less. We purchased ours from Currys using their website and saved £70.00 on the listed store price. * Why this Particular Make and Model * I had seen this TV in my local Currys store and was initially impressed with the overall ...

Premium Review Small but mighty! (741 words)

I did. I had done a thorough scan of all the high street and web shops and compared picture quality live via Curry s/ Comet etc. I decided that a Samsung TV would provide me with the picture quality and clarity I required. The TV seemed to provide a far brighter image than all the others around it and for me this is quite important, I had dark pictured screens because they can never quite provide the same level of detail. I received the TV in full working condition and as I lifted it out of its ridiculously oversized box I was surprised at just how nice it looked standing on my set of drawers, far better than I had remembered it. Its black glossy rim shone beautifully ...

Crowned Review Sam sung to me, HD are you ready (1373 words)

of HD box and subscription. So with this reduced choice it was all down to picture quality really and the only ones that came near were the LG and Samsung having much sharper picture and more natural colour. In the end we went for the Samsung on the basis its picture was good and the design looked right with the stand available with it. We opted for the 26 inch screen as we did not want the set to over power the room and also we felt the smaller screen had better picture quality which to me was more important than having a huge box taking up half the living space. So the Samsung LE26R41BDX was ordered and delivered a week later, but not having the Sky connected till ...
