Well I've had this TV from new for nearly 1 year now and it took some getting used to but I do like it. It's cost at Comet which no longer exists unfortunately was approximately £349.
Our old TV was also a 32" but the chunky style and not nice and shiny like this slim one. When we changed them over it was bizarre that the new one actually looked much smaller and I even resulted in getting a tape measure out to check it was the right size and it was. The reason for it looking smaller was simply the outer edge wasn't big and chunky and that made the difference.
The colour of the pictures when watching the TV are really clear and good quality. Also I think the HD ( high definition) is what makes certain parts stand out more clearly too. We do find though that if you are not directly in front of the TV like watching it from a side angle then the picture isn't clear and blurs slightly.
This TV can be fixed onto a wall bracket or a stand, we choice the stand option as I really don't feel safe with the wall brackets which is my own personal opinion not that they dont work. I'd say the Tv weighs approx 9 kilo so easily moved about to clean under or move to another room. The TV just slots onto the oval shaped base and is quite sturdy once in place. There is space in the back for any other connections you need like DVD player or surround sound system.
This TV like all do nowadays comes with a remote control which we treated very carefully seeing as there are no button to press on the TV itself, we worries that one of the children would break or lose it like kids do then we wouldn't be able to use the TV. Now this is still quite amusing as I type this but after having the TV about 6 months I was cleaning it and suddenly it came on! As some light caught the tv I could then see very faintly along the button right hand corner that there were indeed control buttons on it, not buttons as such but just touch parts which had an on bit, volume and channel arrows. How we laughed when we realized these had obviously been there all along. But seriously why have they got them that faint that you cant actually see them. Even now we know they are there you still have to have yr face practically touching the TV to see them. If you look at this product on Amazon and zoom in you can see the controls but they are not that visible on the real TV.
The sound quality as is the picture quality is good also and you can change the screen size to movie view, widescreen etc and also the sound tones. This TV has a backlight to it which can be adjusted changing the remote to alter the brightness of screen.
On the whole I like this TV apart from the controls not being clear. I dont like trying to clean the screen as it seems to be smeary but I'm sure there is a product in the shops just for TV screens like this. There is much more to it then I have written about but I'm not too technical and should stick to my other reviews lol. Hope this has benefited some of you though.
