I'm a TV installer and I have set-up many of these TV's. The picture quality on the TV's are very good due to the kind of back lighting it uses. It uses LED's which allows a high contrast ratio (don't take to much notice of the contrast ratio number when comparing between brands, cause they all measure it differently) the TV set gives true blacks and also it gives a a nice vivid picture. The sound on samsungs are generally tinny. This is because it has down firing speakers, so the sound is bouncing off the ground. This is easily fixed with a surround sound speakers which will sound much better. If you don't want speakers sat around the room or simply don't have the space, Q Acoustics make 2.1 speaker system which is slim and fixes to the back of the set. It's called QTV2. When cleaning the screen be sure to get proper LCD cleaning solutions and an e-cloth. Cleaning with water and a duster will just leave the screen streaky. When cleaning the frame don't use any sort of solutions as it's been reported it will leave cracks in the frame after a period. It has Internet capability but require a wireless dongle which plugs in the back, they usually cost round about £60 - £70. Once your set-up you can stream videos directly form the Internet, from site's such as youtube. You can also get weather reports or stocks. All in all this is a good set and would look good in anyone's home. Regards Mike
I have bought this TV, a while back, it has a killer view, it has 4 HDMI ports available keep in mind that you normally use 1 HDMI port because you have only 1 view point, but you can inplug all the components, so it's easier when you turn the components on you got instant connection with the TV, this TV is good for the environment well they say that about each TV. it supports 1080p ( 1680-1050 ) Resolution so you got the best quality there is, supported on your TV what do you want more? I use it for Gaming daily, well most of the time, the View is amazing but, in the beginning it took me a week to get used to the dynamic view of the TV, everything was easy to install, never experienced any difficulties, it has also a VGA input so you can inplug it onto your Graphic card as main TV, and perhaps a 2nd screen for your PC, as 2nd screen for surfing and, the standard TV. For gaming of your can configure it yourself, Keep the screen so clean as possible because it is a dust eater, use a towel make it a bit wet, just a tiny spot and clean the TV, Important note let the TV cool down for quite some time Minimum 15-30 minutes, and then start the cleaning, never use a screwdriver to open it, why?, because it's a danger component and it can have a danger voltage open when you used it and then open it so be careful and use it wisely!.
