We bought this TV a few weeks ago - a friend recommended it specifically, and we'd been happy with a previous Samsung set we owned. I will try to provide an all-round review to summarise this TV and its main features.
The Samsung is fairly standard in its appearance as TVs go, but is sleek and slim in design and I'd imagine it would fit in nicely with pretty much any type of home decor. As with a previous Samsung TV I had, it does feel a little bit cheaply made and plastic-y compared to other brands, although you wouldn't really know this just from looking at it. Overall, the TV is pleasing to the eye and I have no complaints in terms of its appearance.
The TV can either be wall-mounted or left on its little stand, and helpfully includes pre-drilled holes for wall mounting. We have opted to keep ours on its stand as we rent our property and don't want to make holes in the wall.
In terms of connections, the TV is well served with one SCART socket, 2 HDMI ports (really handy to have more than one of these), USB plug and an antennae socket, but it does lack a DVI connection for a computer, which may be a disadvantage for some although it's not a problem for me really.
On first installing the TV, I found it very easy to set up and navigate the menu systems - it was fully installed within minutes, including the inbuilt freeview. The remote control is simple enough for people of all ages and abilities to use, with buttons clearly labelled.
This is where the TV really comes into its own. The LED-backlit display is crystal clear with bright, vivid colours - HD channels, PS3 games and blu-rays look absolutely stunning, and the SD display also appears very crisp. The 'wide colour enhancer plus' technology used in this TV clearly pays off and I would say that the quality of display is definitely its best feature
The sound has good quality at a normal level, but does tend to become a little tinny when adjusted to a loud volume. Although we generally keep our TV at the same fairly low volume, this may be a concern for those who are hearing impaired or like to play music through their TV, as the difference in quality is noticeable when the volume is high.
We did experience some crackling about a week after we got it, but Samsung sent us a replacement power cable within days, which did the trick - so I would stress that the problem was not with the TV but a faulty cable. Also to note that I found Samsung's customer service team very pleasant and easy to deal with, which is a bonus.
I would definitely recommend this as a reasonably-priced, quality TV from ever-reliable Samsung that's ideal for watching HD television and gaming.
So I have had this telly for approximately 9 months now and I absolutely love it, although I am not the most techy person in the world. My boyfriend chose this telly and I know alot of research goes into everything he buys so I assume it must be good.
The picture quality is great as is the size. If you have had a samsung telly before then as you know they come pretty similar. I prefer LCD to plasma as the quality seems alot better. The original one I bought was £1500 so the price of this one seems a bargain. The price does vary so I would advise definately looking around and ours came with free delivery.
It has a lovely elegant design, I have mine on a stand but I believe you can attach it to the wall. I know this is not the greatest review in terms of product info as I am sure you will look into that anyway, however just wanted to put my girly spin on this product. It looks great and sounds great!
We needed a fairly good TV for our bedroom as our old Alba had packed up, so off we went to the usual stores such as Comet, Curry's etc to have a look at a few. It wasn't long before we saw this one. We made a note of the best deals and came way then looked on the Internet and found it cheaper at £278 at Electrical Discount UK.

When it was finally delivered, we thought that it came with a bracket for fixing onto the wall, but sadly it didn't - our fault, as we didn't read the ad properly. SO we had to go out and purchase one for £60. My husband successfully mounted the wall bracket, followed by the TV, which was pretty straight forward. We then switched the TV on and did the usual things such as setting the time etc. The overall TV is very slim and looks gorgeous - and that's before turning it on. The remote control is nice and setup was very easy. We tuned in all the channels on the Freeview tuner (which was very easy) we took great pleasure in sitting back and gasping at the picture quality. It was superb to say the least! Warm, rich colours, which displayed a fantastic crisp clear picture.
At first I was a little concerned about the sound quality what with the TV being so thin. Our previous lounge TV was thin and the sound was absolutely dreadful. But I'm pleased to say that the sound on this model was good, no the best I've heard but acceptable for a bedroom TV.
This TV is ready to also connect up with all the other gadgets in your home. You can pop an SD card into it via the USB port and have your own slideshow, or playback most video files, although it didn't support a few formats that I had through at it - no big deal as I can convert my files to play in the TV. I just love the fact that you can also use this screen as a PC monitor too.
I'd recommend this TV to anyone with a small budget and who are seeking a very good quality TV for a lounge, kitchen or bedroom.
Purchased from Electrical Discount UK for £239 including delivery.
Having gotten rid of our large box style tv after a long number of years, we wanted something sleek and modern and up to date but also a tv that would last us more than just a few years before breaking or becoming unfashionable. After extensive searches and looking at hundreds of different brands, models and sizes we decided upon the Samsung 32" flat screen tv.
Samsung have a very good name within the electronic business for making high quality products which last and this style of tv is no exception. With a high resolution, large 32" and very easy to watch screen and in built free view capabilities it has everything you need to cuddle up to have a cozy night in.
The tv design has black, slightly curved edges which gives a timeless look that will not go out of fashion in the near future and would fit in well with most styles of decor within a room. The tv comes with a stand a lone base which can attach very easily to the back of the tv making it suitable to be used on a tv stand in any room, just make sure that the stand is specifically designed to hold the weight! Or you may end up with a broken tv and tv stand! or it does have bolt attachments if you wish to purchase the separate brackets to wall mount the tv. This gives a very nice design touch and we currently have ours mounted on to the wall, however this would not be suitable in all homes as we found that the tv it's self is very heavy and as we have plaster board walls with a cavity we did need to go and purchase special raw plugs and screws to hold the weight of the tv and the bracket onto the wall and are finding that we do need to keep checking and tightening these as there is a very small amount of movement over a period of time. So please do bear in mind that if u wish to wall mount your tv that you do need to check that there is sufficient support in the walls to hold the weight of this tv.
The tv remote that is provided is very easy to use and has the extra capabilities of adding a DVD player and a number of other electronics to the same remote control if the other products are also made by Samsung which is a very nice feature which would allow you to have just the one remote control and not be constantly trying to find them! The tv it's self also has button controls on the side of the tv which is alway good just incase you misplace the remote control!
The menus and set ups are very easy to follow and there is the option to rescan your channel list for any new or extra channels without removing the ones that are there.
Overall a very good tv for the cost and hopefully will last a long time!
